I entered the Graduate Fashion Week 'Fashion Moving Image Award', a competition that focuses on fashion film as a powerful medium for storytelling and creative expression. Fashion films present an exciting opportunity to bring deeper, more considered narratives into fashion communication, allowing creators to explore ideas around style, beauty, and identity while reflecting the diversity of the contemporary world.
As moving image continues to play an increasingly important role across all areas of the creative industries, formats such as film and animation are becoming essential tools for communication. This competition celebrates a wide spectrum of approaches, from experimental and avant-garde pieces to commercial and documentary-style work, and aims to provide a platform for students who are pushing boundaries and redefining what fashion film can be. I also entered the 'Fashion Communication Portfolio Award' with some of the projects shown on this website, which required the submission of a well-executed and professionally presented portfolio that reflects a strong individual creative identity.
This portfolio showcases my strategic and creative process, clearly demonstrating the development from initial concept through to final outcome. It brings together a range of communication pathways, including social media, digital media, PR, photography, and styling, highlighting both my versatility and my ability to create cohesive and thoughtful visual narratives.
