Meet Matilda
Hey there!

I’m a curious, capable, business-minded creative who grew up inside an independent contemporary fashion retail company, an experience that shaped the way I think about brands, people, and ideas. I was that kid who always asked “Why?” My approach blends lateral thinking with a deep fascination for how businesses build entire worlds through brand narratives and communications.

I’m driven by human conversation and connection and am always documenting the small moments in my life that reflect and shape my personal, fashion meets-life moments aesthetic.

A high achiever by nature, I bring both strategic thinking and creative instinct to shaping stories that feel authentic, thoughtful, and commercially aware.

The Last Real Place
This is the space to introduce the Projects section. Take this opportunity to give site visitors a brief overview of the types of projects they'll find featured in the showcase below. Consider adding an engaging image or video to catch their attention and present the featured projects in an attractive light.
Canopy S/S 26
“The Last Real Place” was a publication I made exploring the decline around small shops and meaning of style within the fashion landscape.
Depreciating attitudes: garment, subculture, and style.
In this project I undertook thorough research to explore the hauntological and post modernistic affects within the fashion landscape, identifying a specific problem of depreciating attitudes around garment, subculture, and style.
What I Wear In The Life I’m Given
“What I wear in the life I’m given” is a campaign video I made for a small business in the heart of Derby. Containing the voices of customers, the video acts as a love letter to the shop, the love and humanity behind independents!
STELLA NOVA INTERNSHIP
In August 2025 did a summer internship at Stella Nova Copenhagen in PR and communications.
From supporting preparations for their Copenhagen Fashion Week event, to gaining first-hand insight into the PR side of the business, and joining in on so many exciting opportunities, this experience was invaluable to my experience in industry.
During my time at Stella, I couldn't believe how many exciting things I was able to get involved in both inside and outside of the office.
RAB
For this project my team and I partnered with RAB to market their new S/S'26 sleeping bag range. With the aim to target a younger, female audience we undertook trend, consumer and market research to deliver and pitch a compelling concept.
